Feeder Information System
The FIS leverages the current generation of intelligent devices in a electricity distribution network. Intelligent pole-top devices collect more information than most control systems can use. However, this information is valuable to planners and protection engineers, and is sometimes mandated by the regulator.
The FIS communicates directly with the telemetry devices. Basic realtime information is passed on to the main SCADA system, more detailed realtime and history information is made available via a web interface.

- Resilient to hardware and network failure. Dual-redundant web-server with live data replication. Hot-standby protocol gateways.
- Supports industry standard DNP telemetry protocol directly and over X.28/X.25. Other protocols also available.
- Web interface for ad-hoc queries and reports. Available wherever a network connection is available.
- Reports configurable using XSLT. Report formats are HTML, CSV and XML.

- Easy configuration with a windows user interface. Templates for common configurations are provided. Web page manages configuration change requests.
